Lyme Test: Positive

Notes: Travis came in as a stray. Later learned he was left behind when owner moved and he was kept tied to a tree on a chain. His name was Beavus. Despite all that Travis has a sweet temperament. He did well on his dog test but do suggest slow introductions. Around 3 years old and 55 lbs. He tested positive for Lyme disease and is being treated. Travis is NEUTERED and up to date on vaccines.   • Adoption of dogs is open to residents of Lee, Scott, Wise, Russell, Washington County areas of Virginia.
  • Adopters must sign a sterilization agreement to have the adopted pet spayed or neutered within 30 days of adoption.
  • Adopters must return the proof of sterilization paperwork within seven (7) days of dog being spayed or neutered.
  • Dogs that have been spayed/neutered are available for adoption to anyone including out of state residents.
  • State law requires that all dogs and cats be vaccinated for rabies.
